There is a powerful song out by Matthew West called, “Grace Wins.”  You can listen to it below:

I first heard it a few weeks ago and it really struck me…Grace wins EVERY TIME!  Let me elaborate on this a bit.

First, we deserve hell!

We are born with a sin nature.  The Bible says in Romans 3:10-12:

As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one.   No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.”

No one can earn a way to heaven, be good enough nor support enough ministries’ to “buy” a ticket to heaven.  There is only one way and it is by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart.

Secondly, I am alive!

For those that do not know my background, I almost died when I was born.  I couldn’t breathe for almost 5 minutes, causing a brain injury (Cerebral Palsy).

Many reading this blog probably has similar near death stories, however,

Grace Wins!

Thirdly, even death can’t defeat grace!

Death and hell are nothing when put up against grace.  Grace will win, hands down, every time!  Why?  Because when Jesus Christ died for you & I, He defeated death and hell.  I like how the Amplified Bible says it in Revelations 1:18 –

and the Ever-living One [living in and beyond all time and space]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead).

No matter what you are going through in life, no matter how far away from God you feel…If you will call on Him, He will answer you, because

Grace Wins!
